Nordpeak Documentation

Everything you need to send your first event and build your first funnel.

Quickstart

Create a workspace, grab your write key, and send a test event. Events appear in your dashboard within a few seconds.

curl -X POST https://ingest.nordpeak.example/v1/events \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <WRITE_KEY>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"event":"signup_completed","user":"u_104","props":{"plan":"pro"}}'

Install the SDK

Add the browser SDK with your package manager, then initialise it once at app start.

npm install @nordpeak/analytics

import { Nordpeak } from "@nordpeak/analytics";
const np = new Nordpeak({ writeKey: "wk_live_..." });
np.track("page_viewed", { path: location.pathname });

Event schema

Every event has a name, a timestamp, an optional user id and a free-form props object. Schemas are inferred and versioned automatically, so you can evolve properties without breaking existing charts.

Ingest API

The ingest endpoint accepts single events or batches of up to 500. Requests are authenticated with a workspace write key passed as a bearer token. Payloads above the batch limit are rejected with 413.

Rollups

Nordpeak pre-aggregates events into minute, hour and day rollups. Dashboard queries hit the smallest rollup that satisfies the time range, which keeps most queries under a second even over billions of rows.

SDKs

First-party SDKs are available for web, iOS, Android, Node and Python. All share the same event schema so data stays consistent across platforms.

Rate limits

The default workspace allows 10,000 events per second per write key. Need more? Limits are configurable on self-hosted deployments.
